PRESENTS DONATION

A $10,000 Jackson EMC Foundation check to Angel House of Georgia, Inc., will provide entrance and program fees at the Gainesville recovery residence for women throughout the Jackson EMC service area with alcohol and/or drug addiction. At the check presentation were (L-R): David Lee, Jackson EMC Gainesville district manager; Christy Moore, Jackson EMC Foundation board member; Angela English, founder/director of Angel House; Phillippa Lewis Moss, Jackson EMC Foundation board chairperson; and Kenny Lumpkin, Jackson EMC Foundation representative.

The Jackson EMC Foundation board of directors awarded a total of $104,457 in grants for organizations during its recent meeting, including $49,457 to organizations serving Banks County.
